Let TestGlider for IELTS improve your Writing and Speaking answers for you with our newest feature: IELTS Corrections.

What is Corrections?

Corrections is a grading tool that scans your IELTS Writing and Speaking mock test answers and then generates an edited improved version.

How do I Access Corrections?

1. Complete any of the following to access the Corrections feature:

  • Full Test
  • Writing Section Test
  • Writing Practice Question
  • Speaking Section Test
  • Speaking Practice Question

2. Go to the Scores page

3. Click on Review

4. Choose the answer you’d like Corrections on

5. Click on Correction!

The corrected version of your answer will appear on the right side of the question review page. You’ll be able to pinpoint exactly which sentences to improve.

Can I try Corrections for free?

Everyone is given 1 free Writing or Speaking Correction credit.

You can choose either 1 Writing or 1 Speaking answer to try out the Corrections feature!

  • For Full Tests and Section Tests: you can use 1 Correction credit for each question in the Writing section, and 1 correction credit for each part* in the Speaking section.
  • For Practice Questions: you can use 1 Correction credit for each question in both speaking and writing.

* In Full Tests and Section Tests, you’ll get Speaking Corrections for all questions within the selected part. For example, once you click Corrections for a Speaking question in Part 1, all the questions (questions 1 through 12) in Part 1 will be corrected simultaneously.

With a TG Standard or TG Pro membership, you’ll get access to 5 Correction credits. If you have already purchased a membership, 5 Correction credits have already been added to your account. 🙂

What happens when I use Corrections on a high-scoring answer?

If you already have a high-scoring answer, the Corrections tool will show you an alternate way to answer but it will not guarantee a higher score. This means you’re on the right track to a high band score!

Good luck with your studies,
